ABOUT RICAGNO

I was born in the ‘80s, raised by a powerhouse mother, Fafi, a full-time lawyer with impeccable style. She wasn’t at the school gates or sports days; she was traveling the world for work. When she came home at 8 PM, she’d head straight to the kitchen, heels and all. Her motto? “Bunsi, always look good.. for yourself, not just for others.”

During holidays, I’d tag along on her business trips. Between meetings, we’d lose ourselves in the aisles of Barneys, where she taught me the language of quality, materials, and design. Shoes were always the finale; pointed stilettos, swift decisions. I still remember a near-missed flight because she had to loop back for a pair in Munich.

This legacy of hard work, elegance, and passion for shoes shaped me. I earned a degree in advertising, studied shoe design and luxury Fashion Marketing at Central Saint Martins, and completed a postgraduate program at the Institut Français de la Mode in "Understanding Fashion." I built my own agency and fell in love with transforming ideas into stories. Just before COVID, Fafi suggested we channel our shared obsession into a brand.

And so, Ricagno was born. A mother-daughter fusion of perspectives: Bunsi, the wide-eyed girl inspired by her bold, unstoppable mother. Fafi, the mother in awe of the woman her daughter has become.

Our ethos is transformation. At the heart of Ricagno lies the spiral; a symbol of growth, movement, and constant evolution. It reminds us that every point is a starting point for change. Windows to new perspectives, paths of endless renewal.

Ricagno is spicy, bold, sophisticated, experimental; a brand for those who, like us, move forward with energy, elegance, and curiosity.
